Persuasive Text

 

Learning Goal: We are learning to write a persuasive text.

Success criteria: I know I can do this when I can express my point of view and support it with evidence.

I think eating chocolate is not good for us. Do you know it is full of sugar? It will rot our teeth. It will make us fat. And we will not be able to run or play rugby. It is ok to eat chocolate sometimes as a treat.

Success criteria:  I can do this this when 

• I add powerful verbs
• I add describing words

The waves crashed into the boat. The people were frightened. They thought they were going to drown.

BBQ

In the weekend my family and I went to the beach for a barbeque. I ate a big sausage with tomato sauce.
